Should we reduce the stadium?

With the likelyhood of a 15,000 odd average next season, should we cash in on the soaring price of steel by pulling down a stand and selling off the raw materials?

A tastefully designed Morrisons where the South Stand was wouldn't damage the aesthetics too much and our transfer budget could be funded whilst continuing not to disturb the tens of millions of sky money sitting comfortably in the dust of the bank vault.

Morrisons have a store under a mile away, would be of interest to Tesco no doubt.

If we can manage to stay in the Premiership we can reduce the normal seating capacity to 0, with all televised games and 4 sides of Boxes, filmed in similar "stadiums" all round the world, which is I am sure what the Premiership really want

Perhaps we could go one step further.

Sell the whole stadium, flog the raw materials and relocate to a smaller local stadium with, say, 3 side and a capacity of about 10k.

... I think what we really need is a 12,000 or 13,000 capacity stadium located close to town - maybe a site in West Reading sandwiched between Tilehurst Rd and Oxford Rd.

Perhaps Mr Mad could turn the South stand into a large garage/museum for his many tasty motors. £3 entry for season ticket holders, £5 without. Just think, around 200,000 visitors could buy us another Michael Duberry

Suits me- ground share with the mighty Railwaymen at loop meadow stadium. Short walk to the ground after popping into the pub, just like the good old days.
