Stange isn't, we're doing well and nobody really asks what they are doing well, we get relegated and it's what do they do yadda yadda....

It's simple Howe looks after the day to day business side for Mr M whilst Hammond is a well respected, in the game, director of football - the link between Mr M and the footballing side.

I'm sure they've made mistakes this season, I'm sure they've made them even when we are doing well. They are no more or no less at fault that anybody else attached to the club.

Please, let's not turn into Birmingham fans....in a way it's a small crumb of comfort that we're getting praise for taking relegation from admirable calm.

This football club has hardly been unsuccessful with the current board and it's many employees has it bone head?!

I'm not convinced by Hammond, I prefer the manager to have sole responsibility in transfer dealings, but I also understand he plays an important role in linking both manager and chairman together in what has been a very successful relationship.

So basically, SHUT UP.

Ambition - I think Madejski laying out X amount of millions of his own hard-earned since taking the Club over, not to mention getting us to climb 3 divisions and supplying a new stadium show a fair amount of ambition.

Premier League Club - Correct me if i'm wrong but we have just spent two seasons in the Premiership have we not??

Effectively competing - On the pitch we competed very effectively in our first season and reasonably effectively in the second season, albeit not effective enough but that's more to do with the Management and team. Off the pitch I think we competed superbly in terms of marketing, product sales etc.

Expansion - Good job it hasn't gone ahead now eh??

Anyone else becoming convinced that RoyalBlue is actually some computer program that's set up to react to any mention of 'Nigel Howe' or 'ambition' or 'money'. At least it seems to have gotten out of the loop that saw it mention "the average Reading fan spends a higher proportion of his yearly income on the club than our much-vaunted Chairman ever has" virtually every post.
