I'd like to direct a few questions for more frequent travellers on two wheeled transport. Firstly, is there adequate space in the cycle park? Or do I need to arrive early to be able to lock the bike up? And secondly, are the Stewards on the gates fairly relaxed about taking helmets in? Or are these on the offensive weapons list!!?
Hmm... AF1 included!Huntley & Palmer wrote:They let plenty of helmets into Y25, so you should be fine
Ditto, I've had a couple of a stewards stop me taking lights/pump in, but on each occassion their supervisor has seen sense and over-ruled them. It should also be noted that the cycle park also doubles as a motorcycle park so there are considerably fewer places for push bikes that 102. It's a bit shit really for a stadium of that size. The Cube wrote: Stewards have sometimes questioned me when taking bicycle lights or a pump into the grounds but have always allowed them through. I've seen plenty of motorcycle helmets inside the ground, so a bicycle helmet is unlikely to be a problem, although I don't use one myself.
