I dont know if this is a growing habit but for the plymouth game i was stood behind a man who was clearly a good 30 years old. he was asked to show his members card and he did just that. then as he walk through and i walked to the side of him to the next entrance, he quickly pulled out another card and swiped in with that. A quicker glance showed it was a kids member card.
he noticed i noticed and just winked and muttered 'shhh' and walked to his mates who had a pint of lager waiting for him.
this was in the west stand lower. i usually sit upper so probably wont see him again otherwise id be tempted to see where he sat and report him.
crafty sod, but cant help think not a bad idea either though, even though i feel agrieved people are doing this when most of us pay what is still a lot of money and these people get what, half price?

The lights above the turnstile would still shows its a concession ticket so it's not that shady.

This is costing the club and, indirectly, you and I. If the stewards on the gates actually stopped the abuse of concession tickets it's (just) possible that the matchday prices would be lower as ticket revenue would increase.

I have frequently used my son's ticket ( and him mine as they're fished out of my wallet at the same time) but despite the amber light showing a concession ticket has been used I've never been challenged.

Well no-one with criminal tendencies anyway. There are actually quite a few people who do like the responsibility shown by people who inform on wrongdoers.

Are suggesting that if you knew your neighbour was a paedophile that you'd keep that to yourself rather than tell the relevant authorities?
