Whilst my suggestions were tongue in cheek, why do we need names at all.

At EP we had Town End, Tilehurst End, Southbank, and feck knows what the stand was called, STAND I think??

So North Stand should be Town End, South, away end, east Stand and west, all works fro me.

It was just the Main Stand, wasn't it? Which was fairly usual when a ground only had one side of seating and three terraces.
