If I understood what that meant, Deathy, I guess I'd feel offended, but I don't, so I'm not.Deathy wrote:I wonder what effect these would have one a womans chops. Happy slappers > happy clappers!
I was just thinking the same actually.Sarah Star wrote:If I understood what that meant, Deathy, I guess I'd feel offended, but I don't, so I'm not.Deathy wrote:I wonder what effect these would have one a womans chops. Happy slappers > happy clappers!
I was vehemently against the clappers for the Brum match as I didn't think they'd do anything to lift the atmosphere. I was wrong. As annoying as it was to hear the bloody things up close the overall effect was pretty good.Sun Tzu wrote:To be fair (and speaking as a failry vocal critic of the idea) whilst the clappers were predictably annoying pre match when hundreds of kids were banging them randomly they did have a reasonable effect when used in unison.
I still don't like them but they did a job for the Brum game and if we get noise round 90% of the ground then fair enough.
Burnely could have done with them on Sunday - and I see the 'hard core, genuine fans' in Sheffield had them last night......
