All down to the wages. Less than a 50% increase on the Burnley Premier Wage, and not worth switching IMO.

How many of you recognised the Bruce Rioch influence on Burnley's football this season? And didn't BR walk out on B*****n after they got promotion in 95? How many similarities are needed?

He was offered the Arsenal job after winning Bolton promotion - I think most managers in his position would have accepted that. And as far as I am aware, most Bolton fans seem to have understood and are merely grateful for what he achieved there.

NOw, while I rate Martinez as an up and coming manger I suspect that
1/ its too early in his career for him to go to celtic
2/he's not exaclty the high profile manager I would imagine celtic fans are looking for

What he has proven he can do is produce an entertaining team on a shoestring budget.

Purlease no. Understand his misses is Scottish and they are getting married this summer... CeLOLtic have made an official approach so can't really see him turning this down, even to manage in that Mickey Mouse league, so I'll shortly be joining the Urz inspired 'WTF is gonna happen next season' depression. Presume he's Catholic too.
