I probably wouldn't, unless they paid me a lot more for my services.readingbedding wrote:If I was Coyle I'd go.

According to the BBC. Would really shoot Burnley in the foot if he does go to Celtic!
He was offered the Arsenal job after winning Bolton promotion - I think most managers in his position would have accepted that. And as far as I am aware, most Bolton fans seem to have understood and are merely grateful for what he achieved there.Stooper wrote:He played under Rioch who deserted his club shortly after a Second Tier play off.....rg6royal wrote:http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/celtic/8070586.stm

Edit: Just seen TB has already mentioned this.
It rather depresses me that such a minor, tiny point even matters.Celtic are still raging a non-catholic in strachan was appointed.
I think I could do that nevermind Martinez, as for Champions League Celtic won't do anythng in that either. They may qualify, lose to FC Tallin of Estonia and it'll be cya.weybridgewanderer wrote:so the world seems to have moved on since may 28th
So far we have had
Roy Keane
David Moyes
Glen Hoddle
Steve Coppell
Owne Coyle
Mark McGee
Alan Curbishley
Slavan Bilic
and now the target is Roberto Martinez
NOw, while I rate Martinez as an up and coming manger I suspect that
1/ its too early in his career for him to go to celtic
2/he's not exaclty the high profile manager I would imagine celtic fans are looking for
What he has proven he can do is produce an entertaining team on a shoestring budget.
Good enough to compete for the SPL Title and in the champions league?
Purlease no. Understand his misses is Scottish and they are getting married this summer...Alan Partridge wrote:I think I could do that nevermind Martinez, as for Champions League Celtic won't do anythng in that either. I think he'd be a very good manager for most teams including Celtic. Would have loved for him to join Reading.
