Hats off to Manchester United tonight for losing with dignity. What a contrast they were to the spoilt brat mentality that we see with Chelsea.

Off all the things I dislike about Man Utd, their ability to lose well is not one of them.

Excellent, from the little I paid attention to European football Barcelona were well worth winning the title.

I'm pleased to see United have shown dignity in defeat. Takes a real class outfit to do that. Something Chelsea are simply incapable of understanding.

To be honest though, barca were lucky throughout the comp. Should never have been in the final and then got a ridiculous opening goal. Reminds me of burnley.

Oddly, I though Guardiola showed real class at the end - he went around, quietly and quickly and shook the hands of the united players. A brief chat for those who had something to say, moving on for those that did not.

I dunno. There's always room for that sort of thing, it doesn't diminish you as a man.

Not accepted, but, yes, it does seem to be standard practise.

Yep, that was a nice touch. Very humble in the post-match interviews too.

Fergie and the players couldn't really react in any other way. Manchester United were totally out-played and out-thought by a great club that Fergie doesn't have any beef with. Might have been different if say Liverpool had been the victors in that manner.

Both sides and both managers were excellent after from what I saw and heard.

Makes a nice change for Fergie to show a bit of humility, but as others have said, they couldn't really do a lot else as they just failed to show up after going a goal down.

Always liked Guardiola as a player, pleased for him that he's made such a good start in rebuilding a side that was started to self destruct over the last couple of seasons.
