beetleyroyal Did anyone hear Murty on talksport last night??
He said that he went into Nicky Hammonds office and all he was told was "It's time for a change".
Same as USA.
What a way to treat them after all there years of loyal service.
He also said they never really see Sir John, its always Hammond.

Ian Royal Why would they see SJM?
Hammond is the one in charge of contracts and negotiations. The coaches and manager are in charge of training, matches and tactics.
It's time for a change is a perfectly valid explanation. And much better than, we think you're past it and not worth the cost anymore.

Agreed - was a polite way of saying 'You've become a bit expensive, sitting on the sidelines nursing an injury for the last 1.5 years, when Rosey is always going to be ahead of you anyway'.
