Great support too. Every ticket sold for home fans this season again, apparently. Today though is shocking. When you're a favourite for promotion and then that!Ian Royal wrote:Feel really sorry for them. Thoroughly nice bunch last season at their ground, all wishing us well in the play offs and rooting for us getting promotion.
This is a major LOL. LOL @ any result which needs to be spelled out on the vidiprinter (S-E-V-E-N). I've always thoroughly disliked Norwich for purely irrational reasons; winning the last ever game at EP the swines, that last minute winner against us assisted by referee Neale Barry a few years back, and on my only visit to Carrow Road (back in the days of Pards, we won) a teenage female Norwich fan offered me her NCFC shirt after the game (sadly she was wearing something else underneath). They wear a yellow kit which I always think just screams look at us and there is something about Norwich City FC which just insists upon itself.Avon Royal wrote:Not sure I'd know how to cope to be honest.
Would be like us getting relagated then losing 7-1 at home to Wycombe.

Leicester 0-5 Bolton (first game of season and Leicester were relegated by a street)
Celtic 0-3 Inveress Caledonian Thistle
West Brom 2-4 Woking
It's only one game but I can't see Brian Gunn ever winning back the faith and respect of the fans.
Reading 6-0 West Ham? Being spanked by Premiership debutants, after a fairly good previous season? Ok not as bad.Schards#2 wrote:I'm wondering if this is the worst result any side has ever had in my lifetime. 7-1 at home in the first game of the season against a side you would be expecting to beat comfortably. Wasn't there an element of pay protest about that performance though?Shaka wrote:Millwall 0-6 Rotherham. Opening day match of the 02/03 division one season. Millwall had a pretty decent team and had lost in the play-offs the year before.
