So, a reception party with flags greets the teams as they come out before the game. But why do the club go and spoil it by taking the flags AWAY from the kids? What harm would there be if they let the kids keep the flags? Another example of the club taking one step forwards and 2 backwards.

To be fair, there was a programme of events in the matchday programme. Does make you wonder though why they bother.

The one on the left, yes, but the other two do nothing for me at all. They have that rather artificial big hair look that Americans seem to be fond of, as if trying to look like a 30 year old woman from the 1970s.

The only "Matchday Event" I want to see at a football match is, er, a football match.

I'm willing to accept a comedy half time penalty shootout providing two criteria are met:
a) there is at least one miniature goalkeeper, no taller than 4ft
b) there is at least one fat kid, no less than 12st

I note that Burnley felt the need to play Tom Hark after they scored against Man Utd - presumably because they thought the crowd would be totally incapable of celebrating a winner in a local derby against the champions without the aid of some cack blaring from the PA.

note that Burnley felt the need to play Tom Hark after they scored against Man Utd - presumably because they thought the crowd would be totally incapable of celebrating a winner in a local derby against the champions without the aid of some cack blaring from the PA.

To be fair, The Burnley PA staff probably had standing orders to play that after every goal scored, nobody expected them to score against Utd so didn't see a need to cancel the order.
