Always remember that their core audience isn't people who go to games - it's people who don't go to games and instead listen on the radio.FiNeRaIn wrote:Lot of truth in that, Im starting to hate BBCRCB as a whole now due to their constant pandering to the middle class happy clappy, everyone's in a good mood kind of approach.T.R.O.L.I. wrote:Not being an apologist for Dellor, but it wouldn't surprise me if he's been told by his bosses to keep the club on BBCRB's side considering their direct competition for matchday coverage is actually owned by the club.

Could well be the case but at the moment I think the club need to do everything possible to keep in the good books of the local media that have significant numbers of listeners/readers. Not much good only being able to promote your product on a radio station with a signal that fades out the moment you leave the immediate vicinity of the town and only has a very limited number of listeners within it!T.R.O.L.I. wrote:Not being an apologist for Dellor, but it wouldn't surprise me if he's been told by his bosses to keep the club on BBCRB's side considering their direct competition for matchday coverage is actually owned by the club.
