It's not improbable - my flatmate's 'partner' said that between Benitez and Houllier, they'd signed nearly 20 right backs/right wing backs between them.Did I really hear Keys correctly last night when I thought he said Benitez has signed 67 players for Liverpool over the years? I hope not for his sake because when you remove just one of them from his team, they can't win

Sometimes I get woken up by the rhythmic protestations of a distressed mattress.

not from the clips I 've seen. Keepers get too much protection as it is anyway...Thaumagurist* wrote:I'm fairly sure that the first Lyons goal should have been disallowed cos Reina was impeded when he was trying to get back to his line after punching the ball out. Maybe if your boys could defend (esp. the rapily declining Carragher) the problem wouldn't have been there.Thaumagurist* wrote:I'm fairly sure that the first Lyons goal should have been disallowed cos Reina was impeded when he was trying to get back to his line after punching the ball out. You could see the Lyon forward deliberately smashing his shoulder into Reina.Big Foot wrote:not from the clips I 've seen. Can you explain to me how 5 points seperating the top 5 can be defined as the 'usual tedious 2 horse race'. I think this is one of the most interesting premier league seasons for years. No one can keep a clean sheet, everyone is getting beat and no one looks dominant.Barry the bird boggler wrote:The sooner the club get shot of the Americans the sooner they can build something.
This season they are going to fail to make the top 4
The Premiership is already down to the usual tedious 2 horse race so thanks to Rafa for at least trying to make something exciting at the top end for SKY to drool over
