+1 Made it easy for my mate (non-Reading fan) to work out who was who. Also helped my dad out. His eye sight isn't that hot and he said it was much easier for him to work out who was when there were lots of players in the box.royalexile wrote:I made that comment last night and i think the panel should stay. We know the full hoops are still underneath.
After feedback from fans that suggested the current side were not fit to wear the hoops an emergency board meeting was held in which it was agreed to replace the hooped shirts for a similar non hooped design.NR_Royal wrote:When did we change our home kit to have a white panel on the back?
Agreed, like when we won promotion from Div 2.Hozza wrote:The numbers would be a lot easier to read (with or without the panel) if they used red numbering instead of black.
Six times our tango strip has had an outing so far this season, and will be seen three more times in the near future at Coventry, Derby, and Sheffield Wednesday. The white strip has been seen twice at Barnsley (why did we change strips when blue and white doesn't clash with red?), and Peterborough.Compo's Hat wrote:LOL at our white away kit, been in the orange kit more times so far this season. Only seen it at Barnsley so far.
Stupid idea to have white when we already have it in our home kit really!
Still remember my Cureton 12 in red.1871 Royal wrote:Agreed, like when we won promotion from Div 2.Hozza wrote:The numbers would be a lot easier to read (with or without the panel) if they used red numbering instead of black.
Having had a win in our white and green away kit perhaps we should play in it more regularly. Would it work against Ipswich? It might fool the team into thinking they're playing away instead of at home where they haven't won for - what is it now - 15 games?handbags_harris wrote:Six times our tango strip has had an outing so far this season, and will be seen three more times in the near future at Coventry, Derby, and Sheffield Wednesday. In all honesty I think there should be a rule stating that if there is no kit clash between home and away teams, the away team must play in their 1st colours.
Hmmm...I thought Coventry's kit this season was sky blue n white. Obviously not.handbags_harris wrote:Six times our tango strip has had an outing so far this season, and will be seen three more times in the near future at Coventry, Derby, and Sheffield Wednesday.
