+1 Made it easy for my mate (non-Reading fan) to work out who was who. Also helped my dad out. His eye sight isn't that hot and he said it was much easier for him to work out who was when there were lots of players in the box.

At the end of the day that's what the numbers are there for. If people can't make them out then we may as well not have any numbers at all.

What would be the position if I bought a white T shirt from TK Maxx, a Green Biro, and made my own one? Would I be contravening anyone's copyright or would I own RFC Ltd royal(ties). Curious point on shirt sponsorship?

After feedback from fans that suggested the current side were not fit to wear the hoops an emergency board meeting was held in which it was agreed to replace the hooped shirts for a similar non hooped design.

The numbers would be a lot easier to read (with or without the panel) if they used red numbering instead of black.

Stupid idea to have white when we already have it in our home kit really!

Six times our tango strip has had an outing so far this season, and will be seen three more times in the near future at Coventry, Derby, and Sheffield Wednesday. The white strip has been seen twice at Barnsley (why did we change strips when blue and white doesn't clash with red?), and Peterborough.

In all honesty I think there should be a rule stating that if there is no kit clash between home and away teams, the away team must play in their 1st colours.

Having had a win in our white and green away kit perhaps we should play in it more regularly. Would it work against Ipswich? It might fool the team into thinking they're playing away instead of at home where they haven't won for - what is it now - 15 games?

If the ruling was for the home team to change strips, there would be fewer times when the change would need to be made. But, at the end of the day, the final decision lies with the referee.

Hmmm...I thought Coventry's kit this season was sky blue n white. Obviously not.

The green colour matches (nearly) the green that Waitrose use in their logos. Maybe that is why
