Shame that it looks like he won't be getting fit again as I always quite liked him as a players, and he's perfect for a tournament squad because he could've played in a number of positions.

In terms of hard running, high workrate, Milner seems to have got that covered.

It took me some time to be convinced that he justified a place in the line up. His perfromances in the 2006 World Cup were the best he has put in and he looked a very good player.
