If he goes to the World Cup, then it needs to be to carry the drinks and nothing else.Geekins wrote:This fella doesn't train, can only play once a week yet Redknapp has said that he should go to the World Cup. Is he that good that dispite his fcuked knee, he's next in line after Ferdinand or Terry?

Agreed. King is a quality player which makes it a bigger shame that he's so shot to bits that he can't even train, let alone play more than a handful of games a season.cmonurz wrote:King would be an England ever-present if he was fit, an excellent defender. Woodgate a bit too prone to positional error for me (Terry too).
Against France in Euro 2004 springs to mind, he was brilliant that day.Thomas L'Heureux wrote:Agreed. A few years ago he played as a holding midfielder for England and was incredible for the few games he played.

I don't think I'd take King to a tournament now though as he can only play once a week and with the turnaround of games, I don't think that's acceptable.
