Whether or not you agree with the concept of semi finals at Wembley we at least have to consider the possibility that RFC will be involved in a few weeks. Our previous experience at a national stadium, the Millenium Stadium for the play off final in 2001 was the most miserable experience at a football match that I can ever remember. Pardews team and tactics didn`t help but the presence of 32000 "Royals fans" meant that most regular supporters were surrounded by silent gadabouts decked out in blue and white. The resulting muted atmosphere had a big impact on the team`s performance that day in my view.
Surely with some advance planning the club could group the three sections (west,north,east) of the regular Mad Stad support into a coherent strategy for the distribution of Wembley tickets. Should we make it the players would deserve tremendous vocal support on the day, don`t hold your breath but the club should recognise this and help make it happen.

When it looked possible that we would make Wembley last year i sent an inquisitive email to STAR stating that at a previous Wembley game i had been to at the new Wembley with Exeter City, had next to their info on their website directions as to which blocks of the stadium to buy your seats in if you wanted to
A) sing
B)Not sing but not fussed)
C) wanted a family atmosphere


This is good as it gets the singers together which is more fun for them, and the ppl who dont want to hear the abusive stuff with children far away and they enjoy the game more as a result too.

STAR replied saying they thought it was a good idea, it worked really well when i went to Wembley with Exeter, so i'll email STAR again about it this year, only i'll wait to we actually qualify this time around....

ALBION have released ticket details for their FA Cup semi-final against Portsmouth at Wembley.

The Baggies, who will play Pompey on April 5/6, have been granted 33,000 tickets.

This means the club will only be able to offer their combined total of 24,000 season-ticket holders, members and corporate customers one ticket each.

.....Adults price brackets are £55, £45, £35 and £25. Concession prices will be announced in due course.

But don't forget there will be far fewer cheaper bracket tickets available than expensive bracket ones - and concesions will only be available in certain areas of the ground.

A Villa fan on their forums was complaining about a restricted view, but the ticket didn't say this and the price was the same.

Concessions (i.e children) will be available in all parts of the ground, why would they say children can't sit in the lower tier etc? Reckon we'll be looking at something like £30, £25, £20

On that basis then the nearest to the stadium I shall get on the day will be the Grand Junction Arms at Harlesden.
Suddenly Boro away seems so much more appealing.
