1st4Sport Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football

Apart the dedication to little SLWR's team's cause (I'll miss the Peterborugh game).

How many more qualifications do I need to pass to qualify

1. As England Manager,
2 Or get the top job in Football - Manager of RFC

Out of interest where and with whom are you doing the course? Is it with the Berks and Buck FA?

If you have time, you could approach RFC's Soccer in the Community scheme to help out in the Summer, you'll need to do your Coaching hours with someone, and they will definitley have Coaches on the same road as yourself.

I did my Level one up at the madstad a few years ago, only took a week or so and had the assessment in the training dome.

Im in the middle of my level 1 at the moment, being run by a fulham coach in Farnborough with my assessment at the end of April. The level 1 is a good course, if you coach youngsters it'll give you plenty of ideas to keep sessions interesting.

I have Level 2

The number of courses and the qualifications needed to run a kids football club has gone through the roof in recent years but it's worth it if can calm the raging touchline parents.

Think Dan19 is a level 3?

I am indeed UEFA B Licence coach...was thinking of doing the next few licences

UEFA A Preparatory Course
UEFA A Part 1... Cost: £1665 - £2250
UEFA A Part 2... Cost: £1665 - £2250

After UEFA A licence I need:

Academy Managers' Licence...cost: £1120 - £1495
UEFA Pro Licence... Cost: £6495 - £7250.00

If you wanted a fast track way to Level 3 you could do your FA International Coaching Licence, It is a three week residential course providing candidates with the opportunity to develop their football knowledge and coaching competencies through a variety of related activities.
If you achieve all three elements of practical coaching activity you will receive the FA International Coaching Licence and may be recommended to apply for the UEFA A Licence with The Football Association.

For this though you will need to either have had first class playing experience, with some coaching experience or be a qualified teacher.

Completed my Level 1 on Saturday.

I thought it was excellent - plenty of practical coaching games to take back, plus plenty of stuff to make you think about how you coach kids.

Highly recommend it.
