Just seen it on MOTD and as the Reverand says, the difference is that one is blatant cheating whereas the other is simply playing to the whistle and yet Ferguson chooses not to mention his own sides cheating (again). He refused to speak to the BBC because of some perceived slight (this from the man who regularly blasts referees who don't do what he wants them to do), he supports his players in their constant moaning, carping and criticising of officials during a game, he gets rid of anyone who doesn't defer to his bulbous-nosed eminence, and his knighthood had more to do with his "best mates act" with Blair than anything else.

Considering that his personal greed was partially responsible for the Glazer's managing to take over, probably not. If he hadn't been such an avaricious old soak, he wouldn't have sued John Magnier over the stud fees for Rock of Gibraltar, and Magnier might then not have been so eager to sell his stake in Man United to Malcolm Glazer.

Erm, I may have been watching something completely different on Sky but I thought his post-match was refreshingly fair.

He made no bones about Chelsea being by far the better side in the first half; didn't overstate their dominance in the second and when asked about the offside, he agreed (which aint surprising) and went on to say the officiating was poor in general for both teams, which is was.

He only responded to the questions asked of him.
