Not too impressed with Barry, but who else is there for that role? Huddlestone might be better as he has a better range of passing, but he also hasn't had much of a chance on a big stage.winchester_royal wrote:Best player?Wax Jacket wrote:England's best player fo rthe last two seasons and the key to the new shape that allows all the Bertie big BOllocks to play - Gerrard being quite fortunate to be involved I should add

Slows the game down, rarely wins the ball, and offers little going forward. If only Hargreaves was fit.....

23 Apr 2010 15:09That's a really pathetic thing to say. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, and mine is that Barry is an average player who isn't good enough to be in an England WC winning team. If you think differently then fine, but try and be a bit more mature in your responses.Wax Jacket wrote:only by someone who doesn't understand footballBig Foot wrote:Barry's left foot brings some balance to the midfield and our whole formation, don't think his place in the starting XI can seriously be called into question?

It really doesn;t matter much which fringe players we take, our first 11 isn't good enough.
