I thought the 'should footballers come out' question was very badly worded, and left me with no option but to say 'no'. No, I genuinely don't think that all footballers should come out (it's the use of should that I object to), in the same way that I don't think every homosexual 'should' come out. It's none of my business. If people want to come out, brilliant, if they don't then they can keep it to themselves.

It strikes me that this 'academic' is a bit of a thicko. No wonder he's at Staffs.

Why should it matter if a player is gay?
