Royalty Points

Although this doesn't directly effect me, it irks me slightly that Torquay away in a few weeks won't gain me any Royalty points because its pay on the day.

I've been in touch with the club and they've confirmed that despite taking time off work and the fact that I'll be travelling all the way down there, I won't get any Royalty points. This seems a little unfair to me.

I know this probably only counts for a few games a season and might come across as a bit pedantic but it does seem a flaw in the Royalty points system, especially for those that are on the edge of the different bands.

Like I said, I know its a bit pedantic but its the principle of it really. I'm taking two days off work and travelling down there. To me that's showing a fair amount of 'loyalty' and I don't get any recognition for that in the loyalty points scheme.

Ultimately it doesn't really effect me because I have more than enough but it bugs me all the same

They still award them, they just rarely actually employ the system to benefit those with the more points because seemingly they can't be arsed.
