Only if Reading FC hand over the money they've collected *before* the match is held. Personally I'd hope that they hang onto it for the moment.weybridgewanderer wrote:you'll be one of portsmouths creditors, then you'll join the q like all their other creditorsLoyalRoyalFan wrote:You'll get a refund surely?
Administrators plan proposed in June was to repay unsecured creditors at least 20p in the pound over five years.
so you'll likely get one fifth of the value of the ticket over 5 years
It's ok, I paid on Visa so they'll give me the money back and sort out the mess their endDirk Gently wrote:Only if Reading FC hand over the money they've collected *before* the match is held. It's an interesting legal point though - who has sold you the ticket and so who do you have the legal contract to honour the ticket with? Portsmouth FC, for whom Reading FC are acting only as agents, or Reading FC who actually handled the transaction?
Too smug too soon, unless you pai well over the odds for your tickets. The Consumer Credit Act 1974 holds the credit card company jointly liable with the supplier - but only for goods between £100 and £30,000.handbags_harris wrote:It's ok, I paid on Visa so they'll give me the money back and sort out the mess their end
You could have just said out. It would have been a lot quicker to type, and it would have portrayed the same message.tomrfcurz wrote:In (if Pompey get their act together)
See the numerous posts suggesting that your money is safe with Reading FC until the match is played.tomrfcurz wrote:If i go, it'll be on the day that i get a ticket; i'm not risking it with PFC. If they sell out before the game, i don't go. I'm not joining the list of people that Portsmouth owe money to - get your act together or get out Pompey, end of.
