QUOTES FROM THE PRESS

Jobi McAnuff helped ease the pressure on boss Brendan Rodgers as Reading ended their run of four consecutive defeats with victory over Coventry. The winger scored his first goal for the Royals and set up the other two for Grzegorz Rasiak. Rasiak headed home a McAnuff cross after just 27 seconds before the latter scored from 12 yards to make it 2-0. Reading manager Brendan Rodgers:
"There is always pressure in football and I thought we were excellent. There was a lot of tempo and I talked to the players about controlled passion. We had a great start and I have kept enforcing to the players the importance of a strong start. The players had good motivation going into the game and we put quality balls into the box."
