I’m a bit in two minds. Caveat I missed the second half but first half was the best we’ve played this season Not sure if it suggests we will keep playing like that and get results or whether we can play well and still not win games Certainly signs of improvement today (for the first time imo) but being 2 points off bottom and 22nd place at this stage is utterly unacceptable along with some awful performances along the way I don’t think Hunt could argue if he got the sack now but if he doesn’t we absolutely must get results in the next couple of games - 4 points min

Yeah same. All on the next 2 games really. Win and we'll look so much more comfortable. Lose and it looks really bad

I suspect Hunt has bought himself another game or two with the performance but suspect lose on Tuesday (or even draw) and he’ll be done

Not sure about Noel, but today is on a few players, we should have won that, Lane has no end product and Doyle is a lazy Oxford. Not sure what happened for their first goal seemed like we totally lost shape and had a back six

I did think we played quite well in it but we deserved to lose. We've been in league two for eight years in our history. Anyone accepting that is tinpot and we deserve to be doing far better. Most of those who w e negative are lefty twats who disregard our potential as a club

Don’t just get him out the team, terminate his contract for match fixing. THREE sitters missed - is this guy really that shit, or is he missing them deliberately? Absolute toilet player.

Bar missing the goals (good save, not ideal for a left footer, and great block), I thought Lane was, similar to most of the team, quite a lot better against Cardiff than in recent games. If I was to compile a list of players who aren't good enough to start based on Cardiff, it would be Doyle, Stevens and Burns in the top 3. Burns having been poor most of the season. He's just so bloody awkward and slow. CB order of preference for me is Williams, O'Connor, Dorsett, Yiadom, Burns, Stickland. I'd be interested to see Kyerewaa, Ehibhatiomhan or even Ritchie start in the 10 over Doyle at the moment. Him and Elliott have been… More →
