I didn't listen to the game or watch it but we won against one of the best team in the league so we must be good but lots of people said grabbing was rubbish again he must be one of the worst players at our club since Peter mate, Eric obinna chuckwenyelu and the guy with the beard we bought from Stoke who played in defence and was absolutely horrendous but who is now a super model

Just got home. We were excellent tonight. I'd hardly say Wednesday battered us. They had periods of pressure when Ali made a series of oustanding saves, but it was hardly one way traffic or sustained. For large parts of the game we looked comfortable in keeping them at bay. We played some excellent football and took our chances (even if Williams tried to stop Poppa from scoring!). Overall everyone played well, but I thought that Obita, Swift and Yann were all excellent (Ali was MOM obviously). We weren't battered whatsoever tonight. They had a prolonged period of possession in the final 15 minutes, which is to be expected when we were 1-0 up, but we more than half our own this evening. Grabben aside, everyone put an absolute shift in, they can all hold their heads up high. Nights like tonight are what we watch football for.
