Fixtures Released - Reading Start With Luton At Home

Reading's fixtures for the new 2026/2027 have now been released as the Royals face a fourth consecutive season in the third tier of English football. Reading will start the season with a home match against Luton Town on Saturday 15 August 2026 at the Select Car Leasing stadium before traveling to AFC Wimbledon the following Saturday. The third game of the season will see a tasty trip to local rivals Oxford United who were relegated last season after a brief stay in a division about the Royals. The reverse fixture, when Oxford visit Reading is on 6 February 2027. Our festive season kicks off on 19 December with a big home game against relegated Leicester City. We are away on boxing day against Stevenage and have Milton Keynes at home on New Years Day. The season wraps up on Saturday 8 May with a long trip to Doncaster Rovers.
