Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan Set To Leave

Reading are rumoured to be set to accept a large fee for the transfer of Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan away from the club. Ehibhatiomhan still has one year left to run on his contract with the Royals after signing an extended contract last summer. The rumours have involved Danish club AC Horsens and an offer of between 750,000 Euros and up to two million pounds. A value anywhere in that range would of course be very difficult for the club for refuse. AC Horsens have just been promoted to the top tier of Danish football and are looking to strengthen their side for survival.

Ehibhatiomhan, who has scored 27 goals over 139 Reading appearances after making his debut in August 2021, played no part in Reading's 2-0 pre-season away victory at Woking yesterday and manager Leam Richardson confirmed he was missing due to a potential exit from the club. Tyler Sackey and Jacob Brown scored the goals as Reading experimented with two different line ups across the game.

No big miss, but I hope a new club and manager unlock his talent. Could be a player in there, but equally his career could just be a giant "what if?".

Every game you watched him you though he would do do something magical, but we rarely saw it..... Shame, there is a player in there somewhere, maybe a better manager can get somthing out of him.
