I would just like to say a big well done to the ownership and management team for what looks like being a very shrewd and successful transfer window. A real shift to young hungry players with a bright future which will either take the team forward or allow us to sell if needed to balance the books. Hats off to the gaffer as he seems to have listened to the noise at the end of the season and has the team playing a fast exciting brand of football which should only get better with time. Great result and good to see different scorers 3 in 3 for Brown now isn’t it - and 2 of those sub appearances. Great option

Yeh especially considering a lot of people were writing him off after the first 2 games. Also shout out to our defence who have seriously stepped up since the shit show against Luton. Sure I'm forgetting something but can't even remember JP having to make a serious save in the last few games.

Did you go to the game? I don’t mean to willy-wave, but Earthy and Marriott had run themselves into the ground and were spent, and with Blackpool switching to a back three they were too easily beating our press. Taking them off was entirely reasonable at that time, it was unfortunate that Brown and Williams took 15 minutes to get up to the speed of the game. When they did and Reid came on we had a significant counter attacking threat. There has been more than enough to criticise Richardson for, you don’t have to assume extra things.

Really enjoyed that except the last 20 minutes, we look the real deal right now. one or two flaws but don`t all teams have them? JP: 6 Stop f u cking about with the fancy stuff that could have cost us, beaten by the only shot they had on target. Dokes: 7 like this guy, a good no nonsense full back O`Connor: 6 clearly limited, but always gets his head in there when it matters. Ward:7, do we have another Tyler Bindon on our hands, looks like a real talent. Roberts:7, likes what I saw today, no nonsense defender right up Bowlers drainpipe, never gave him an inch. Fantastic performance and well deserved win, at last a team full of energy and fight . Thought all the players put a proper shift in exemplified by Lisbie. Tremendous energy and certainly looks a great player in the making. It’s been years since I enjoyed a game so much, well played Reading, though let’s not get too excited yet.

Rinomhota has been a revelation. An aggressive defensive midfielder who can actually pass the ball. Absolutely what we’ve been missing for years. His passing today was beautiful.
